Bruce W. Doole

Bruce is the President and Founder of Permanent Value, Inc. For over 23 years, Bruce’s passion has been to exhaustively study how people grow and retain their wealth over a lifetime. Growing up in an Air Force family taught Bruce how to build wealth with limited income resources and the value of saving and reinvesting while building multiple income streams. These lessons have been used to help clients become and stay financially free. Bruce has also studied and put into practice how those same lessons can be passed down to future generations to continue to build and grow a family’s wealth.

Bruce also serves as Chief Investment Officer for the firm where he strives to constantly improve the investment process and strategy for each of our clients every day. Bruce is a dynamic communicator about the investment business and has written numerous newsletters and articles about how clients can improve their financial situation. He has spoken at many educational workshops as an expert on investing and financial strategies, and has been quoted in the San Diego Union Tribune, Orange County Metro, and Investment News magazine.

Bruce currently is a board member of the San Diego-Imperial Council Boy Scouts of America and Endowment chairman. He has been a board member of the National Board of Representatives for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) and Board Trustee and Donor Development Chairman for the San Diego and Hawaii Chapter. He has represented the LLS on FOX News and NBC News on their morning shows to advocate for children’s health issues. Bruce is also a founding member and has served on the Board of Trustees for the Doole Family Charitable Foundation for over ten years where they support elementary schools, scholarships, children’s health issues, community food programs, and child advocacy centers. He has served as the chairman of the Site Governance Team and co-chairman of the School Site Council for his son’s elementary school as well as board member and treasurer for the Lewis Middle School Educational Foundation, his son’s middle school . Bruce is passionate about Little League Baseball and helped coach numerous teams for his son. He also has a love for San Diego Sports and tennis and is an avid runner, completing seven marathons and numerous half marathons. Bruce has also branched out into triathlons with the Lavaman Triathlon in Hawaii being his first. Bruce currently resides with his wife and teenage son at their home in San Diego, near the firm’s headquarters.
